Our premier partner, Book Aid International (BAI), the UK's leading book donation and library support organization, in 2023 donated brand new educational books with an estimated value of 7.6 million ETB to Hawassa University institutional use and primary, secondary school and college libraries outreach programs in the Sidama National Regional State, Ethiopia.

The BFA-HU Partnership Project aims to furnish books to primary and secondary schools, particularly to the schools in the rural areas of the Sidama region, Ethiopia. That is why we are currently running an official online fundraising campaign on an official BFA Project Page. The money raised will be used to ship donated educational books on various subjects and computers directly to the Sidama region of Ethiopia.
Since 2020, we have partnered and collaborated with the UK's leading book donation and library support organization Book Aid International. We also collaborate with Books For Africa and the International Law Book Facility.
We strive to serve our community's needs by supporting Primary and Secondary Schools, Public Libraries, Prison & Higher Education Libraries in the Sidama National Regional State, Ethiopia.
Participating in international professional networks and associations and exchange ideas, skills and knowledge with like-minded people, experts and professional colleagues from around the world.
